It's interesting that I felt my Dharma Bubble burst whenever the Oceanic Six returned to the island. I felt so at peace with James and Juliet living in harmony on the island, leading the Dharma people together. It seems they are, erg, were at the right place at the right time. Now we must throw in those who are DESTINED to be on the island. I think it's a crock. A CROCK!

ahh....but who really is fulfilling their island destiny?

JACK is meant to defeat the enemy. He has been the hero from the beginning and I believe his destiny is to be the hero. He has had major character flaws like all of our losties, but through out the show he has faced his demons and sooner or later (before or on the last episode of 2010) he will save the day.

SAWYER has always seemed to be a Man of Faith to me. He's very similar to Locke in ways and LaFleur really showed this side of him. There was a certain sick and evil pleasure I felt when I saw James give Jack the almost exact speech that Locke has given him several times before. IN YO' FACE, JACK! He just doesn't seem to get it.

Also, I am still very certain that Jack and Kate are still the two most dysfunctional characters on the show. They are always running and acting out. I haven't seen them change much, but I certainly hope they do...and soon.

Which leads me to the love quadrangle or whatever you want to call it. I think that James and Juliet are meant for each other. Jack and Kate need to take a hike. All my opinion..I said it.

Does anyone have an opinion on the very curious case of Christian and Claire? I have still been thinking about these two.

The Life and Death of Cool Freeze

Greetings Icebox Readers and Fellow Lost fans. I am back to tell you of what I've been doing all this time.

Where to begin?

Well, I would like to start where my last post..so many many many months ago left off. I do believe I was on the topic of Claire. She is M.I.A. and all she wants to do is PSH PSH PSH and take yo money. sorry. ok enough.

Anyway Claire is gone. Now Aaron is gone. Let's see here. Who else would like to climb aboard the M.I.A. train?

Claire. Is she alive or is she dead? I do believe she is alive and she is on a journey of her own. A journey that we will learn about next year.

That is just my thought. I am sorry I haven't blogged in forever. I miss you all. I have been very busy traveling and finishing up some last minute projects.

I thought it was very clever to have the smoke alarm go off to signify the "the island's presence".

I do indeed think Claire is alive...and that is that.

The Shape of Things and Stuff

I can't believe how intriguing The Shape of Things to Come was! It was an outstanding episode! I have to complain about the extremely harsh killing of Alex and Danielle though. I just think that they were such compelling characters and to see them just get shot was horrible. The island has become the floating graveyard..even though the island isn't really floating..I mean I don't think so.

Did anyone else think that the secret rune inside the secret room was SUPER COOL! I can just picture Ben going into a small cavern and pushing down on a huge lever and calling the SMOKE MONSTER! You know, like in Pirates of the Caribbean where Davey Jones calls up the Krakken. I guess getting monsters to do your dirty work is the new style. I will have to order one off of eBay. Anyway..LEND ME YOUR THOUGHTS!

I always say I am going to do a more in depth analysis..but I never do. There is so much..always so much.

Was Benjamin Expecting Company?

I find it interesting that Ben rushed out of his little house at the beginning of Season 3 whenever he felt the rumble and searched the sky frantically. It isn't like he was looking around for a rockslide or a volcano. He seemed to be searching for something to fall and sure enough Flight 815 came falling out of the sky. Not only that, but then he gave such frantic orders and acted very quickly.

That was just something I noticed.

LOST!! What I Can't WAIT to See!

What's the dealio?! LOST is only two weeks away!!!! It will be so refreshing to have some good television and even better that it's my favorite show ever! How quickly the hiatus has gone and now these last two weeks are going to craawwl by. Well, let's hope not.

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE:

How the lostaways react to charlie's death.
What Desmond does when he comes back to the beach. (who he tells about charlie first.)
What Locke's plans are.
What becomes of the Others that go to the temple.
The Temple!
Michael's story!

Oh and most of all, what the freighter people do. So many things I absolutely can't wait for in the upcoming season!!!

A New Look and A Book

Greetings! The LOST factories are working over time or under time or through time or something these days. I thought I would try out a new look for the site. Please tell me if you like it or not in the comment section. =]

I am currently reading a book called Uncharted. You can read the synopsis and then understand why I am even mentioning it. So far it is a very good book.

FIND815 has been a really great way to get me pumped for the upcoming season. Tell me any clues you have found along side what you think about the new look. =]

Time? Time? Mittelos? Lost Time? I have been thinking about Walt and how TPTB could possibly explain his age. Well, one option is that he doesn't show up again. Yet, I also have been thinking about the ageless wonder Richard Alpert. I think all of this aging and not aging ties into the time. In the trailers they have been saying. "On September 22nd, 2004 Flight 815 crashed...in 2008 rescue comes...or does it" ok so that isn't exact..but the 2008 part is.

So we can say that they are just referring to the dates on which the series premiered..and which it's coming back...but maybe this refers to more...

WHOA sorry..I just was going insane! Why would anyone think that the show is actually in sync with reality?! I mean come ON!

Anyway..this ends my insane post.

A Theory and a Thought from Cool_Freeze

The revolution has begun. So many people say that the strike is a bad thing for Lost, but I think otherwise. With so many other shows off the air, Lost will most likely be the biggest thing on television next to the ever so repetitive reality show American Idol. Yes my dear lovers of an ever so intense and dramatic and mysterious island, this show is going to take people by complete surprise. They will be browsing through the channels and well..nothings going to be on other than Lost, so they will have to watch it. Then they will start to get involved and they will wonder WHAT the deal is with this island.

"Hmm..It seems like some WEIRD stuff has happened to the survivors of Flight 815 that I saw crash on an abandoned island 3 Seasons ago...September 22nd, 2004."

Here's some nice news, the Lost theatrical promo was on Youtube and was on the most viewed and discussed. It looks like it is getting a healthy start on promoting the new season.

A Theory to Read in a Dark Corner

So I have been mulling over the death of our dear Rockstar, Charlie Pace and something about it troubles me. Yes, the death is very troubling alone and there is NO doubt IN MY MIND that Charlie Pace is dead. I know for a fact that he is as dead as a doorknob...or dead person. I mean one troublesome thing is that Claire is going to be all alone. I mean the only way that she wouldn't be alone is that if the bad twin of Charlie Pace showed up on the freighter and everyone confused him with Charlie and they bad twin just went along with it. Oh...oops..that was my theory. Mull over it. =]

A LOST Christmas Carol

Christmas 2007 is quickly approaching. The holiday season is in full swing and LOST is on the horizon! WHAAAAA!!!!!!

Lately I have been thinking Christmas and Lost. The Lost Book Club might want to look into a book that isn't referenced to on the show...just for the Christmas season. This book is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The analogous point of views are endless really. Scrooge could be Jack, Locke or Ben. Christmas past, present and future...well Desmond and Mrs. Hawking can handle that. Jacob could play his could-be namesake Jacob Marley. I will have to think this out and have another post for you later. On to better news....

Did you hear?! LOST promos in theaters!!!! WhOO HOO!!!! The words of choice for season four are "CRAZY GOOD"!! For me, these words also describe the end of Season 3. If LOST is continuing in the same fashion...I am foaming at the mouth! Season 3 DVDs are set to release on December 11th!

Also...any news on the video game? anyone?

What-A-Mystery! Those Numbers

I must take back what I said about the Mobisodes being a waste of time. That was strictly my opinion. The reason being is because "The Adventures of Hurley and Frogurt" got me thinking about Hurley and the numbers. (que the BUM BUM BUUUMMM music)

Oh yes my Lost lovers, "The Adventures of Hurley and Frogurt" are more important than you might have thought. You see it got me thinking about Libby again as well. Neil Frogurt said about how it would be "Neil time, now and forever." So this might not seem that significant to you, but it got those brain cells moving for me.

In the episode titled "Dave" we see the crazy number guy. I think his name is Leonard. He is at the Santa Rosa facility with Hurley. Libby also shows up here at the end of that episode. Now this is where it gets interesting.

Leonard knows these numbers for a reason and I am guessing he was on the island at some point, maybe pressing the button or maybe he is just someone who has these numbers and knows they are important. I think Libby was at Santa Rosa because she was either investigating Leonard or she was sort of crazy because she knew she was going to have to crash on to a mysterious island very soon. Hurley playing the numbers and winning seems an amazing coincidence. I feel that's all it is.

Mobisode #1-The Watch

Yes YES YES!!!!! Some fresh meat to bite into. What I mean by fresh meat is the new LOST MOBISODES that are going to be premiering every week at ABC.com until the premiere of Season 4!!! The first mobisode is titled The Watch. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it and then come back here for a good ol' LOST blog. =]

Every time I think of last season's finale I think of the scene in Titanic where Rose is crying "Wake up Jack, wake up." Don't ask me why. Anyway....

The Watch..and Jack

In this mobisode Jack was given a watch that is a family heirloom of sorts on his wedding day. Christian admitted that he never wore it, but he says the Jack is making the absolute right choice. Then he tells him that if they ever have a kid to "Try to treat him a little better than I treated you."

Jack needs to keep track of time and not have daddy issues. OK! We can cover time travel again and again..but time is a reminder of more. We all have choices to make and we all have to deal with the consequences of those choices. We have to make the best choices everyday because we only live a short while. I'd like to think that this is what the mobisode is representing on a much deeper level. On a more enjoyable and theoretical level we could say that.........

IT'S A FLASH FORWARD! Alright, so this isn't really confirmed. Yet it would be very interesting if Jack ends up getting married to Sarah and Christan Shepard is alive. That is just for your LOST Loving minds. =]

Munchy Time!

First, I must rejoice!

I am relieved to tell you that the writer's strike may be more of a blessing than a curse for LOST. As it turns out, the writing team already has all the scripts up to episode 14 of the upcoming season completed. Episode 7 is currently in production. YES!

I must say that even though things haven't been very exciting around here, once we are in January we are only a month away from the premiere!!!! :::faints:::

The ALL NEW Lost Blog will be up and running in January! Myself and other LOST Bloggers will be running this site. I think you will enjoy it, I really do.

My IN RETROSPECT reviews won't be finished before the season 4 premiere. I do apologize about this, but I would like to put some work into these reviews and even revise the earlier ones as I go. Each season reveals more so that leaves room for more answers and revision.

So now..we must predict. What is going to happen in the upcoming season?

They're Stealing our Theories!!!

Last night I settled down in front of the DVR and scrolled through the shows I had missed throughout the week. Keep in mind, most of the shows I have set to record are on NBC. Among these are Chuck, Journeyman, Bionic Woman, and LIFE. So I took my large glass of iced tea and started watching. (The iced tea was good, by the way.)

Oh, so when I started watching Chuck, being the LOST fanatic that I am, I instantly thought back to how Chuck had mentioned flight 815 in a room 23esque scene. It gave me joy to think how LOST has become a big part of our pop culture. Well, the next show was Journeyman. In this particular episode, the character is traveling back to the San Francisco earthquake of 1989. Of course, being the LOST fanatic that I am, I instantly thought of our Time Traveling dilemma on LOST. I love you, Penny. Sorry, I just had to say that in a British accent.

Well, one of my favorite shows of the week, Bionic Woman, was up next. Of course this show is about a woman named Jaime Summers who is reinvented after a car crash to become a super human. Her counterpart, Sarah Corvus, was the first bionic woman. She was shot and killed after going insane and killing 14 people, but then she was brought back. Being the LOST fanatic that I am, I instantly thought of Mikhail and his seeming invincibility. See one of my previous articles about how I think Mikhail is a robot.

This made me stop halfway through another gulp of iced tea. NBC is TAKING our LOST THEORIES and making them into halfway decent T.V. SHOWS!!!! The next show, LIFE, is all about a detective that was falsely accused and is trying to piece together his own case, while solving other cases as well. He reminds me of a Jack type character. So I may be off my rocker and just way to into the t.v. show LOST...or I'm right. I mean we have already seen NBC pay homage to LOST through the t.v. show CHUCK so we know that they know LOST exists and in a big way. I mean it makes sense to me. I was never one to watch NBC's comedy hour shows (shame, isn't it). I loved FRIENDS, but that is dead and gone. So, it makes sense that I would all of the sudden be interested in what NBC has to offer.

Well, I might have added to much sugar in that glass of iced tea. I'm not really sure. =]

"Sit With Your Back Against the Wall"

Let's face it, we are nearly through our hiatus. LOST will be back in a little over three and half months. Many of us have blogged our minds down the drain with new LOST material and theories. Sad to say, I got tired of LOST and needed a break. I'm a dedicated fan, of that there is no doubt, but we all need a break once in awhile.

I have a feeling we will be backed against a wall more often than not this upcoming season. The writers have the future set in stone and now they are going full steam ahead.
I'm ready....I hope.

A Season 4 Intro?

Alright..So I think some of you will get a kick of this. I was scanning through files the other day on my computer and came across the beginning of a script. Well...more like a script idea. I read it and realized that it was the beginning of a LOST episode that I had written for season 4. I think I was going to join the LOSTEPEDIA writing contest, but never did. SOOO here is what I had written. Forgive me, it ISN'T in script form at all so try to read as best you can. =] Here it is:

Episode starts with a boy sitting on steps that lead up to the entrance of a large building with pillars. He sits with his chin resting on his knuckles. Birds are heard chirping in the distance and several doves are on the steps behind. Boy is wearing a worn shirt and pants, once white but now dirty and worn, with a clean, burgundy robe overtop. He also wears sandals.

Man comes down steps behind him and stops.

Man

It’s a beautiful day out, isn’t it? A great day for fishing.

Boy
Yes

Man
Then why are you sitting here and not fishing down on the shore with everyone else?

Boy
They know nothing. I have fish here. I don’t need to contribute.

Man squats down and looks boy in the eye.

Man
That’s not what your father says. He sent me to tell you that he wants to see you. He wants to speak with you.

Boy gets up and starts to walk up to the entrance of building.

Man
Oh, and Jacob, walk softly. Your father is angry.

Jacob looks back, puzzled. Camera pans back to reveal temple and village and then city. Pans back farther to reveal jungle surrounding large, extensive city. Then back once more to reveal all is on an island. Cuts to intro.

I could talk about every itty bitty detail of this episode...but it's no use. This episode contains one of Kate's flashbacks and that makes this episode a MUST SEE. This was Kate's first pre-flight 815 flashback. Memphish has some very good questions from this episode. Many that I also have.

Hiro and Hugo? Sawyer and Sylar?

Hmm...I never have fully gotten into Heroes as some of you know, but I can tell you that it's on Monday nights. At least that is when it was on last season. If it remains to be on Monday nights, how will this play out for LOST? I addressed in my previous post that the show would premiere Monday, February 4th at 8 p.m.

What I Think

I personally don't think that it will effect either show negatively at all!! If anything people will be watching the calender every week WAITING for Monday night to roll around. It looks like Monday will be "The Night" for television. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Lost and Heroes may make a great team! =] OK, well I am off for now. I am going to continue to post my IN RETROSPECT articles this week. You know, the ones that I started back in June and never got around to?

Giving You the Rundown

What a weekend. I've been extremely busy and this is coming at you late Sunday night. I just got word that Terry O'Quinn won an Emmy. I didn't get to watch them of course because I wasn't sitting in front of the television like I wanted to be. CONGRATULATIONS TERRY!!! I can hardly WAIT to see you return to primetime Monday, February 4th at 8 p.m. OOPS, that was my next point.

LOST RETURNS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH AT 8 P.M!!!! I am so extremely happy and excited right now, I don't know what to say. May I say, that's in 4 and a half MONTHS!!!

MY NEWS-OK, So I have a few more minor things to tell you. FIRST, I have joined the LOST FANTASY LEAGUE over at DarkUFO blog. I am not going to reveal who my team members are until we get closer to the premiere. (It's a big secret, LOL). ALSO, as of now myself and Bigmouth have signed on to do the blog that consists of Lost Bloggers. I have sent many of you author invites, so if you are interested either check your email or get in contact with me. =]

Mikhail is a Robot

Computers can't cheat. That's what makes being human so distinctly wonderful.

After my last WAM article I thought about Mikhail. He has evaded death on several counts. He seems to be invincible. With all this talk of futuristic material being used on the island I thought, Mikhail could be futuristic material. That is to say that he is a robot of sorts and that is why he doesn't die.

In Enter 77 , while Locke is trying to defeat the computer chess game Mikhail comes in and says to him:

Mikhail: Eh, don't waste your time. For 10 years I've tried to defeat that game, but it was programmed by three grand masters and it cheats.

Locke: Well, I've played a lot of computer games and I'm pretty sure they don't know how to cheat. That's what makes being human so distinctly wonderful.

That is what got me thinking, was this some sort of clue? Reason being, for the next several episodes Mikhail cheated death. Does this mean he is some type of computer program?

Or should we go with Locke in saying that computers don't know how to cheat?

WHAT-A-MYSTERY Those Bodies

Can anyone explain that picture above? For those of you that don't know, that is the casket Christian Shepard was in. Jack found the casket empty after chasing after a hallucination that looked like Daddy Shepard. So let's look at this for a moment.

When The Plane Crashed people SURVIVED! They landed on the beach and survived. They landed in the jungle and survived. They landed in trees and survived. They landed in the ocean and survived. The probability of that: ZERO. Are they invincible? I doubt it, considering the number of funerals we've had on the island.

Island Funerals are very sad times for the survivors. First we had Boone. Then we had Doc Artz, the expert on how to transport dynamite from the Black Rock. He went BOOM. The next one to die was Shannon, which was in the process of trying to decipher what Walt was saying when shot by a trigger happy Ana Lucia. Surprisingly, she was next to go, along with Libby.

Death hasn't been very uncommon on this show. The list goes on. Next, there was Mr. Eko who was killed by the Smoke Monster. Nikki and Paulo were buried alive, or killed by LOST fans. I really don't know which death is worse. They were only paralyzed when they were put in the ground.

The most recent death was Charlie. So are all of these people dead? I forgot to mention the man that dies over and over again.

Mikhail looks to have been killed several times. Each time he lives. NOW THAT is what makes you question these peoples deaths! Not to mention the "hallucinations" such as Yemi and Christian. So who is dead and who isn't? Where is Christian Shepard's body?

Peanut Butter Shipper No More

This is quite a small question next to all of the other overriding questions on LOST and yet it will be addressed. How will Claire deal with Charlie's death? It would seem that she is a strong enough person to deal with the situation and yet she also seems the complete opposite at times too.

When Ethan kidnapped her it seemed that it was an all to straining experience and she even experienced memory loss. What seems even more curious is the fact that Ben and his minions had injected Claire with a material that could have both positive and negative effects. (Does my memory serve correctly?)

THIS WILL BE QUITE A DEVELOPMENT

The relationship between Claire and Charlie has always brought out our emotions (well, mine at least) and always made us feel how they do. The classic scenes where Charlie would sit down beside Claire and Aaron and hold them tightly at the end of an intense episode while soft music plays is something that can't REALLY be beat. As much as it seemed that Charlie was getting some watered down moments, he really remains a classic LOST character and his death will have an impact on Claire that hasn't yet been fully felt by the Lost Community.

WHAT-A-MYSTERY That Rabbit

I've been away so long that information I've wanted to address has been pushed back and other stuff piled on top of it. So let me get right to it. This is a new type of article that I will be posting. It is called a WHAT-A-MYSTERY! or better put and condensed a WAM! article. What will my first WAM! article be about you may ask? YOU GUESSED IT! That fuzzy wonderment the white rabbit.

Quiet! We're Hunting for Wabbits! If I have to hear about another white rabbit I may just throw up and roll around in it, but I have to talk about it with my sense about me. Rabbits are cute and furry little creatures with twitchy little noses, BUT WHY USE IT IN LOST?! Here is some information that I think you may like or you may not.

Why White? Well, since LOST has a reoccurring theme of redemption, that is where I think the white would come in. Other than that, I think that the white rabbit refers mostly to the character in Alice in Wonderland. At the end of Season 3, the words Jack uttered to Kate made it seem as if he was trying to get back to his wonderland of sorts.

We have to go back, Kate.

My consistency with my blog has been very bad lately, but not to fear, I HAVE NOT FORGOT ABOUT LOSSTT!!

Lost buzz never dies. It goes down A LOT, but believe me, it NEVER dies.

NOW FOR WHAT'S UP, and WHAT'S BEEN PROMISED FOR AWHILE! Yeah, so I have a LOT of stuff that needs done and I WILL SAY IT AGAIN, it will BE DONE! I promised!

Stations to Be Reckoned With

WOW! I'm on a roll today! 2 new articles!! WHOO HOO!!! Yet, it was only from pure inspiration and brain kicking from Doc Jensen that this is possible. :) As you've no doubt surmised...ahh..most of you know about the new film to the station named The Orchid. Well, in this film Marvin Candle...halliwax(whatever his name is) is wearing a Swan station jacket. The Doc says it could be because it is more or less..well... you read the article.

Here's whatado- These films are bogus. They were made to mislead. They were made to create an illusion. I say the illusion was put forth so someone could study the island's much deeper secrets, to study the supernatural. More so, it's an easy way to get money funded to you by creating an illusion that there is some important scientific work going on and really it isn't scientific, more supernatural. PLUS this illusion will keep it secret, keep it safe.

I am saying that I think this man is a fake and knows it or maybe a fake and doesn't know it. I am going with the first choice. He is a phony. I mean a man can only have so many names!!!

Like I said....I think that someone wanted to get money handed to them while keeping the island's secrets all to themselves. That's what I think.

The Box

A box contains items. A box can also be empty. Ben supposedly used a box as a metaphor. Hurley owned a box company. Locke worked at a box company. There was dynamite in boxes on the Black Rock. What do you say to all the boxes. Most of all, what do you think about what Ben said? Is this a mystery that is unneeded, meaning that Ben was telling a lie? This wouldn't surprise me, especially if Ben is trying to maintain an illusion that they are on some type of magic island.

This hiatus is wayyy to long!

A launch date has not been set, except that it WILL be up and running before the Season 4 Premiere. Smokey the Psychic

Here is an Age theory. What if our dearest island cloud of smoke is a transformer AND a psychic? Let me explain.

We have seen many island apparitions, or what we think to be apparitions and many assume them to be Smokey in disguise. I am one of those who assume these supposed apparitions to be Smokey. Ahh, observe apparition screencaps below. :)

Richard Alpert is the one I would like to address. I do believe that this particular Richard Alpert is just an apparition, a phony! The island knows what it wants and how to get it, so what more then to get it's TOP DAWG representative to do its dirty work (Smokey).

That is where psychic ability comes in. Desmond experienced his little flashback-to-reality all because of Smokey's doings. Smokey is manipulating these people to accomplish something. What, I don't know. I am on the fence with Richard being an apparition. I have another thought on him as well. More on that in a few.

The Deal with Time The island is time. That is why there is so much confusion. It LITERALLY IS the time. In a sense, this means that there is no time at all. That is why children cannot be born on the island. That is also why I do not think that the people "killed" on the island are actually dead. It explains so much (in my head anyway). Other theorists say that it phases in and out of time and some say it is in another dimension or time loop. All of this is true to an extent. It is an ISLAND, a place all its own. It can phase in and out of anything and everything. Yet, humans are not meant to be on this island because they are not supposed to phase in and out of time.

Life VS. Death

Aaron was born because he was conceived in a TIME and not OUT of time. Sun's baby has no age because it was conceived on the island, where humans are not meant to be. Aaron actually had an age that EXISTED in a stable time where humans are meant to be. That is what makes the survivors so special. They are MEANT to be on the island because they have to accomplish something. They get a shot at redemption. Not just ANYONE is led to this island. The people that die on the island I do believe are put back in there time, given a second chance at life.

MIKHAIL?? RICHARD?? These two are the islands recruits. :) RIchard and Mikhail could very well be supernatural beings and not human at all. They may not be apparitions but something else.

I KNOW I'M CRAZY!!!
To Sum it All Up (or at least try): The island does exist in a different dimension and phases into ours occasionally. It can go every which way in time. Forward, Backward, or just stand still.

People are meant to age in ONE time and if we are constantly phasing in and out of time and then suddenly get put back in one time it will mess everything up. !COURSE CORRECTION!

I know this theory is all over the place and deals more with the overall theory of LOST. And NO I didn't take Advil this morning. :)

A Storybook Tale

I don't know how many of you notice, but it seems that the names of each Hatch come straight from storybooks. The Looking Glass being the most obvious, but it seems every other name could fit quite nicely into a fantastical story.

Go my son, retrieve the magic arrow and shoot it through the hallowed flame. It shall pierce the heart of the sacred swan and then you may go through the looking glass.

Yeah, I don't know if I went over the limit on Advil this morning or not. I mean, it was a REALLY bad headache.

As Far as Josiah Goes...
In my previous article, The Temple, I mentioned a philosopher by the name of Josiah and how I think his ideas have LOST written all over them. The problem is, I don't know how to give these ideas simplicity and convey their relationship to LOST. I am asking all of my fellow LOST bloggers to look into this. I may just be loony and looking way to far into it, but that is for you guys to decide. If you would like to be involved, write an article in your blog and then I shall provide a post with a link to each article.

The Temple

In the episode, What Kate Did, Eko tells Locke the story of Josiah, King of Judah in the Old Testament. Following this story, he hands Locke a Bible. Inside this bible he found a film, the other half of the one Locke found in the Hatch. The story Eko told was of Josiah sending his secretary to the treasury to retrieve gold for the workers, so that he could rebuild the temple. Since the temple was in ruin, people worshipped idols. So, the kingdom was falling apart. Josiah did not want this. When the secretary came back from the treasury he did not have gold, but an ancient book that many know as the Old Testament. It was by this book, not gold, that Josiah rebuilt the old temple.

Josiah...who? There is another Josiah that has caught my interest, one that is, well, a philosopher, Josiah Royce. This man and his ideas seem to resonate LOST! I am not so good at conveying the various ideas of his that relate to LOST, but I know someone who will. I will get back to that in a minute. Now, back to the temple.

Eko's Temple Eko told Locke that they found a place much like the temple in ruin he described in the story of Josiah, and he said that is where he found a book. When he says this, he hands Locke the bible. Now, I assume he is talking about The Arrow hatch, because this is where he found the bible with the film. I SAY ALL THIS BECAUSE it made me think, what if the Temple that Ben and Alpert are talking about is just another hatch? It isn't the one Eko was in because that was named The Arrow. They also found a glass eye there as well. So, who knows?!

One more intelligent than I There is one person that I will enlist the help of for this endeavor of communicating the thoughts and similarities between Josiah Royce and LOST, one that I know will be good at conveying them in simple terms. I will have a follow up blog to this.

Character Collage

Along with my IN RETROSPECT reviews which are in the works (I PROMISE), I will be doing character studies. Each character will get an in depth article written on them and I will post them here. Isn't it EXCITING?!?! ::sarcasmincluded:: So, when I am finished, you should be able to put all the articles together to make it look like the picture you see on the left. :::moresarcasmincluded:::

Ok, but for cereal, I will be doing these articles. I have procrastinated on posting the RETRO REVIEWS, but they are coming also, as I have promised over and over.

LOOKING AT WHAT LIES AHEAD
Of course the future looks murky for the ongoing story of LOST. All we know is that it will end in 2010, what happens between now and then in the story is being kept secret and safe with the writers. That brings me to my next venture, forecasting the fates of the island and those on it. Yes, I am a top notch Island weatherman....no one can quite melt COOL FREEZE. :)
Seeing that we don't know what is going to happen, I shall be writing my prediction articles. I will tell what be brewin in my brain as far as what is to come. How many more lies will be told? Better yet, where ARE the lies, and who is telling them?

I recently made some changes to my blog, hoping to make it easier to navigate around it. I have a new section just for LOST BLOGS and my labels are now organized. I haven't done any retro reviews in awhile, but I promise that I will have ALL Season 1 and 2 retro reviews finished before Season 4 starts.

History Repeats Itself

The writers know very well that we love clues and "easter eggs" as they're called, so they give them to us. Don't quote me, but whenever Ben said that "History was going to repeat itself" I think he MEANT it. As I started to explain in my last post, Island Disappearing Act, I think that the history of the island is KEY to what is happening to the losties.

Consider this:

The island has a mind of its own. Some have said this all along and other fans sort of frown upon idea. Is Smokey the spirit of the island? This could be possible. Ever since I heard of a volcano on the island I've pictured Smokey rising from the eruption and overtaking the island by force. This is a comical way of looking at it.

All smoke put aside, the thought of history repeating itself to accomplish something special doesn't seem to far off. These clues that point toward time may be clues that are pointing toward this possibility. The Hostiles seem not to be aging, or at least Richard Alpert hasn't aged. Are these people real or just apparitions of the island?

If they are Real: They are a cursed people that can't get old until they accomplish their goal.

If they aren't Real: This would just continue with the whole idea of island apparitions.

BLACK ROCK vs. COCKPIT
An entire ship versus the front end of a plane can hardly be compared, yet they can be. The question of what happened to the crew of the Black Rock still remains unanswered. If the Black Rock crashed on this island and had to deal with "Hostiles" of sorts and had an entire crew then what happened to them? This is extremely hard to compare seeing that we hardly have any information on the crew of the black rock at all, but picture it. The crew of the Black Rock having to fight for a way off the island, struggling day and night against the hostiles and the smoke monster. The people from the ship are here for a purpose, but they don't accomplish this purpose, therefore the island gets rid of them and brings another group of people to the island. I am looking forward to hearing what you think.

Island Disappearing Act

The island is an illusion. NO, it is magic! There is no possible way that an island can go undetected when you have people landing on it all through time. I don't think that The Looking Glass always existed, therefore I don't think the island was always hidden. That is why I say it is magic. Usually, if you land on an undiscovered island you call it yours and you place your flag on the highest peak. Then you go back to where you came from and tell your friends about it and take them to it. You establish a civilization all your own. (OK, that's just what I would do) So WHY is this island not civilized? If the Black Pearl, oooo I mean, the Black Rock landed on the island in the late 1800's or later, why did they not establish a civilization? If they did, they didn't do to good a job.

The other clue we see of early life on the island is the Four Toed Statue. Seriously one of the weirdest things I've seen on the show. There is also mention of a temple.

What I'm trying to say is, I think the history of this island is KEY to what is happening with our Lostaways. YOU would THINK that if one ship became LOST on the island, OTHER ships would become lost on the island. I have a feeling that the Black Rock and the front part of the plane are to be compared. I think that the people of the Black Rock were very similar to the Lostaways and in a sense, history is repeating itself. The question is, WHY??? If there was a civilization of sorts, what happened to it? Are the hostiles from the Black Rock and do they tie into this civilization? I have a feeling history has been repeating itself for a looonngg time on this island.

I will be mulling over these questions in the weeks to come with some nice facts from the show AND doing my RETRO reviews. I will further develop my thoughts on HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF as well.

IN RETROSPECT: Pilot Part 2

Jack, Kate and Sawyer have returned to the beach in the second part of the Pilot. The one thing that stood out from this particular scene shown above is that in the background you hear the survivors talking about the thing they heard in the woods. One person says it sounded familiar. Is this a clue?

My FAVORITE scene from this episode was when Hurley looks at Jin's "food" with such disgust. This scene is, in my opinion, classic.

In every episode, the story progresses. Sometimes slower than we want and sometimes SUPER FAST! I am not going to be very harsh on the second part of the pilot, seeing that it was the second part of the PILOT and in reality the pilot part 1&2 are one episode. The storyline that was setup right away was the radio signal. Shannon, Sayid, Kate, Boone and Sawyer trek through the jungle to higher ground, in hope of getting a signal on the radio. IN RETRO we know that they wouldn't be getting any signal and that they would be struggling with that signal right up until the end of season 3.

AHH YES, the mysterious POLAR BEAR. Sawyer started to show his heroic side when he shot the bumbling bear and saved his "pals". The POLAR BEAR mystery still remains to this day. Yet, they have been referenced throughout the show. Eventually, Sawyer and Kate are kept in cages by the OTHERS. When Sawyer is successful in getting a "bear" biscuit from the contraption inside, Mr. Friendly informs him that the bears figured it out faster.

We also learn that Kate was in handcuffs before the crash. We learn what she did in the episode What Kate Did, or did we?

Finally, we get to the mystery that was FIRMLY ESTABLISHED and to this day hasn't been solved. We take full notice of this mystery when Charlie delivers a classic line, Guys, Where are we?

SO I ASK YOU.....GUYS WHERE ARE THEY?!?!

IN RETROSPECT: Pilot Part 1

Who knew eye contact would be such a big thing in this show? The first thing we see in the Pilot are Jack's eyes. Opening the show this way has been a reoccurring custom. So why the eyes??? The eyes are sometimes called "the windows to a mans soul". In this facet, many of the flashback episodes at some point in time focus in on the eyes of the character having the flashback. Each flashback lets us learn more about that particular character, what they've done, and how they were in the past. Thus, giving us a glimpse of their soul in a sense.

WHAT?!?! A DOG?!?!?! How did he get here? Vincent the dog was who we saw next. I still think that their is more to this dog then meets the eye. He was right at Jack's side just moments after the plane crash. He was in a cage, wasn't he? I would love to see his flashback.

(Note: This isn't the best retrospect review, but there is better to come...I promise....just maybe not this particular retro review. :) )

Jack's Every body's Hero

Jack's heroism is established immediately when he runs to the aid of the crash survivors. Re watching this scene sent chills down my spine. So many of the main characters were introduced in this scene, in less then 30 seconds.

Who could forget the story Jack shared with Kate? Well, I did until just recently whenever Jack referred to it in I Do. He tells of his experience doing surgery on a girl when things go wrong. He tells her how he let fear do its thing, but only for 5 seconds. He counted to five and then he went back to work. Kate, since then, has taken this method of facing her fears. When being chased by smokey, when going down the hatch, and when being held captive. She stops and counts to five and then goes on.

It didn't take the survivors long to realize that they were not alone. How interesting it is that three seasons later we are still finding out that this island has had many visitors and many occupants over the years. When I first saw the trees moving I thought of King Kong and Mighty Joe Young, but this creature is far from any over sized ape. The mystery of Smokey lives on. Of course we are to assume that it was Smokey moving the trees that first night, at least lets hope. Let us also hope that it was Smokey that pulled the pilot from the cockpit. I've never seen Smokey kill anything, save for Mr. Eko and that's it. It seems that it was judging Mr. Eko, but the pilot had done nothing. Why did it kill the pilot???

HAPPENINGS ELSEWHERE

That same day, Others were taking in their share of the action as well. A small community of people watched as the plane broke apart in the air. Ben would send two people to each part of the crash, Ethan and Goodwin. Afterwards Juliet would take a walk with Ben and see her sister, alive and well on a screen in Mikhails station.
Desmond is in the hatch just after forgetting to push the button, which we think caused the crash. He had been out spying on the resident button pusher and then murdered him.

Hmmm...thats interesting.

We can't forget that the Tailsection of the plane was also having their own struggles, but their is a whole episode devoted to that, so lets continue with the pilot.

Strangers in a Strange Land
Our crash survivors didn't know it then, but rescue wasn't coming and they didn't know that they would be in this strange land for longer then they hoped, at least some of them anyway. A land that has more mysteries than the Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, or Boxcar Children could ever handle. The end of this episode shows a very dead, very bloody pilot hanging in a tree and then we cut to LOST.

So that is my retro review for this episode. I do apologize as I know it wasn't really much of any type of retro review, but I know there are many more episodes between now and the end of season 2, so I have a chance to redeem myself. Thanks for reading!

STARTING NEXT WEDNESDAY

Since LOST has aired on Wednesday for the last three seasons, all of my reviews will be posted by Wednesday. I haven't heard of any schedule change for next season as of yet and I hope it stays that way. My first review will be posted by next Wednesday the 6th. I will be reviewing the first episode of the first season of LOST. I will continue to review each and every episode after that, right up until the end of Season 2. That will take us completely through the hiatus, right to the premiere of the 4th Season of LOST.

A Brief History of Time, An Extensive Presence of Future

Carl Sagan's ideology on Time and Space is very appealing, as it can be incorporated into the current suppositions that are engulfing the Lost Community. Many of his ideas are the premise of one of his books, Contact. If you are part of the TIME TRAVEL TRIBE in the Lost Community, I think you will find this book very interesting.

CARL SAGAN AND THE "GRANDFATHER PARADOX"
In an interview done with Nova Online, Carl Sagan has this to say about the "Grandfather Paradox".

NOVA: On that note, can you describe the "grandfather paradox?"

Sagan: The grandfather paradox is a very simple, science-fiction-based apparent inconsistency at the very heart of the idea of time travel into the past. It's very simply that you travel into the past and murder your own grandfather before he sires your mother or your father, and where does that then leave you? Do you instantly pop out of existence because you were never made? Or are you in a new causality scheme in which, since you are there you are there, and the events in the future leading to your adult life are now very different? The heart of the paradox is the apparent existence of you, the murderer of your own grandfather, when the very act of you murdering your own grandfather eliminates the possibility of you ever coming into existence. Among the claimed solutions are that you can't murder your grandfather. You shoot him, but at the critical moment he bends over to tie his shoelace, or the gun jams, or somehow nature contrives to prevent the act that interrupts the causality scheme leading to your own existence. <----This almost sounds like course correction.

NOVA: Do you find it easy to believe the world might work that way—that is, self-consistently—or do you think it's more likely that that there are parallel universes?

Sagan: It's still somewhat of a heretical ideal to suggest that every interference with an event in the past leads to a fork, a branch in causality. You have two equally valid universes: one, the one that we all know and love, and the other, which is brought about by the act of time travel. I know the idea of the universe having to work out a self-consistent causality is appealing to a great many physicists, but I don't find the argument for it so compelling. I think inconsistencies might very well be consistent with the universe.

Yes, this ties in nicely with LOST time views....and Mrs. Hawking. Maybe Alex's boyfriend, Carl, will end up having the last name Sagan (not likely). Alas, I do not want to venture any further through the wormhole, let us look at something closer to home, closer to this reality.

OUR ISLAND TIME
As was regrettably, yet thankfully announced buy Team Darlton, LOST will end in 2010. That is why I waste no time in trying to find the answers before the mysteries are solved (sarcasm included). We have come through three seasons of this maniacal maze and we have three left. Unfortunately, I only started blogging this season. THAT'S WHAT DVDS ARE FOR! I will be doing reviews, as some of my blog allys are (see Ben Lundy link), on each episode starting with season 1. When I realized that this season was over, my brain went into turbo mode trying to think of a way to pass the hiatus time. This was my solution. I will be doing as thorough of a review as possible, picking out details that hint at what's to come, character analysis and development, pop culture references, and much more...or at least as much more as I can think of.

Sayid and his words of wisdom were shadowy implications of what was to come. "No matter what happens here, keep moving." said to Jack just before he led the Israelites (Survivors) to the Promise Land (Radio Tower and more appropriately rescue) or not. Jack did keep moving and he didn't stop.

I need your feedback on what you think will happen. I have my thoughts, but I want to hear yours.

My questions to you.

*How will Jack end up where we saw him at the end of the episode?

*Will others get off the island?

*How will the show be set up next season?

There are so many theories to date as it is and with this Season Finale there are about a bizillion more to come. What are yours?

Finally Through the Looking Glass

A FEW QUICK FLASH THOUGHTS
After realizing that the Jack flashback was a flash forward or maybe just present day, I went back and watched said 'Flash' scenes, picking up clues that I had missed.
I don't know about you, but the entire flash had me confused the FIRST time around, noticing that something wasn't quite right with what I was used to. Just seeing Jack sitting on an Oceanic Air flight looking like a man that has spent way to many days cracking coconuts on some craphole island sent chills down my spine. "Is the big game changer that he has already been to the island?" I ask myself. This question remained until the end of the episode. As the episode progressed the flash became even more odd with a scene where Jack went to a funeral home to pay his condolences and take some more pills of what I assume to be drugs (Charlie would be ashamed!). I will get back to this later, maybe even in another post. Let's rewind or flashback...ok I'll stop with the flashes. Anyway, back to the beginning.

SAYID AND JACK'S FOND FAREWELL=A CLUE?

"No matter what happens here, keep moving."

This is a really big stretch, I realize, but after rewatching this episode I looked at this statement Sayid made as a possible clue as to what is to come in the next season. Jack kept moving and I think he keeps moving, right up until he gets rescued, no turning back. I can hear you yelling already, WHAT THE HELL!?!?! As I said, it's a stretch and a fairly large one at that, but I still think this statement was prompting us to more then just Jack refusing to give Ben the phone. I think it is a clue as to who gets rescued. I think that many of the survivors won't get rescued, and that Jack, Kate, Claire and Baby Aaron are the ones that get rescued. They end up not coming back to the island, because they can't. Ben might also and he may be the one that ends up in the coffin. OOO, IT'S A MYSTERY!

Questions

The hours are winding down. Another season finale of LOST is quickly approaching. I want to discuss the questions that I have.

Where did Carl come from and who exactly is he?

What was Rousseau doing on the island with her team?

Who the hell are the Others and what the hell are they doing on the island?

What does the manuscript, Bad Twin, have to do with the show and will it ever come back into play?

These are just a few of the questions I have been mulling over lately. Another very interesting question is, what is the big shocker in the season finale going to be? More importantly, how big of an impact will it have on the show's storyline?

Charlie Goes through the Looking Glass

Charlie. Such a strange thing to see his flashback again. This episode set stuff up for the finale. The last few episodes have. Hell, the last three seasons have.

When Charlie arrived in The Looking Glass station it was a completely classic "victory/defeat" moment. You know, when one moment you think the character has won and then the next the character is facing danger and in some cases defeat. I am wrong in saying that Charlie has been defeated because we don't know that just yet.

End of Hurley and Charlie Friendship
If it be that the moment where Hurley and Charlie said good-bye to each other is the last that they see each other then I really am feeling bad for Hurley. That means he loses another friend. I sorta hope Charlie survives on his account, but then again Claire and Aaron need rescuing.

With the possibility that Claire and Aaron will find rescue, this may mean that some of our islanders leave, OR DOES IT? ? ? Will we have some off-island storyline. I highly doubt.

That is all I have for this week. My head is still spinning from last weeks episode The Man Behind the Curtain. Those questions will carry through to next season. The main questions will remain until the series finale in three years or whenever it may end. Enjoy this last week of LOST before the finale. My postings will be few after that. I will be posting theories throughout the summer if I come up with any. Nonetheless I will be posting something.

JOHN JACOB JINGLEHEIMER---LOCKE?

Whenever he goes out, the Hostiles always shout, THERE GOES JOHN JACOB JINGLEHEIMER---LOCKE?

Another debate has developed in the Lost Community about who Jacob is in light of the most recent episode of the psycho t.v. show LOST, The Man Behind the Curtain. In all honesty, this debate has been going on ever since the pre-hiatus episode I Do, when we received the information that Shepard wasn't even on Jacob's List. Now it is a full blown battle between the 'LOCKE IS JACOB' people and the 'LOCKE ISN'T JACOB' people and 'LOCKE IS HURLEY' people and all the other groups as well. Screen caps are everywhere. The captions say "IT'S LOCKE BEFORE HE WAS BALD!" Other captions say, "IT'S HURLEY, BALDING!"

Here's a question for ya. WHO IS JACOB?

It could be possible that all the people on the island NOW have been there before. Might it be that Annie, Ben's childhood sweetheart, is Kate? It could be that Locke IS Jacob, but now he is enslaved by time and space and according to the Room 23 video, Only FOOLS are enslaved by Time and Space. That said, maybe Ben is brainwashing his people into thinking this. That would set up a rebellion against Jacob. When people start to rebel against Jacob, Ben could become the ULTIMATE leader. A DICTATOR OF HIS OWN ISLAND. Sadly, when all of his people die there won't be any left because of the baby problem. OH, but maybe his people won't die. It seems to be me that Richard Alpert hasn't aged a bit.

This brings me back to the part where everyone on the island NOW has been on the island before. This could be possible, especially if TIME TRAVEL is possible and alternate time lines and such. If this becomes fact, what is it that these people are supposed to do here? What is THIS ISLAND ALL ABOUT???

Well, I am going to go think over this more.

BTW: Did you like my little diddy at the beginning about JOHN JACOB JINGLEHEIMER LOCKE? I found it amusing when I started singing it right after thinking about John and Jacob. or John Jacob or whatever.

THE CURTAIN SLIGHTLY OPENS

LOST did some major storytelling in the latest episode, The Man Behind the Curtain. Information came from every direction, flashback and present. At one point I switched over to DVR and paused it because I needed a break. I needed to think about what I was seeing. So if you got time, sit back and relax because this is going to be a weird LOST Blog post.

Now, where do I start? Ahh yes, the beginning.

JUNGLE OR NOT???

NOT!!!!!! Of course Ben was born "just outside of Portland", which has become a significant location this season. The scene where Ben was born reminded me of the scene from Men in Black, where Will Smith helps the woman give birth to an alien baby on the roadside, a very fitting comparison if you ask me. "Let's name the alien, Benjamin."
OK, so those weren't her last words, but Ben's mom did struggle to say "Let's name him Benjamin." right before she died. Which raises the question, was it her having Ben early that killed her or was it her saying his name? Who knows. Develop some theories on that.

"Welcome to the land of the Hostiles, brah! NAMASTE!"
When I saw young Benjamin (looking a lot like Harry Potter I might add) get off the sub with his daddy Roger and step onto the island of poo, I thought the next scene would be Woodstock. They were handing out leis and spreading peace and love by saying Namaste. Now, here is a serious thought. Are the leis a clue along with the little bobble head that Naomi had in her backpack? What are the writers trying to tell us?

DING, DONG, THE WITCH IS DEAD!
No, just flip the tape over, I'm not dead. Of course Juliet is a good girl. She is, isn't she? I didn't get much info about what Jack's plan was so I won't be talking about it.

ALPERT---YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL
I always thought Ben was older then Richard Alpert, but when I saw Ben in the flashback with Richard he looked a LOT younger then him. Plus, Richard was wearing a lot more eyeliner (hence, young and beautiful).

LOCKE AND BEN, TOGETHER AGAIN
These two are something else. Here is how the whole 'meeting Jacob' scene went.

Ben enters cabin and proceeds to the presumably empty rocking chair. He starts talking to the chair. I start to think that I am right about Ben lying. Locke questions Ben and asks him if he is just putting on a show for him or if he is crazy and really thinks someone is there. Ben says that of course someone is there. Locke gets fed up and turns to leave when he hears "Help Me". I rewind to make sure I heard right. I did hear right. He turns and looks at Ben while I go into the other room and check my sanity and then check the information on the show to see if this is really LOST or not.

Sorry, I can't go on because the rest was entirely too creepy.

To skip to the end, we see Ben shoot Locke and left in a Post Dharma-Purge Grave pit to die.

QUICK THOUGHT ON JACOB
We know this episode was titled Man Behind the Curtain. In the Wizard of Oz, the wizard appears to be someone great and powerful. Is Jacob great and powerful or was he in a control room somewhere with a microphone and a green screen?

I doubt the latter.

So tell me your thoughts. I am going to the bathroom because the thought of that scene is just THAT HORRIFIC.

The Possibilities are Endless

Intriguing, that is what Ben is. His character has a million different possibilities at this time as well as does the storyline of LOST. You could say that Ben represents this thrilling T.V. show excellently. To have theories about what is going on is a lot of fun, but lets face it; none of us know where it is going.

With 3 seasons left, the show could go anywhere. I'm not talking ratings, although those could change as well, but I'm talking about the story. We've come a long way in the last three seasons. Each season takes us a little farther and gives us more questions, with a few answers as well.

UPCOMING
I said last week that I was working on a theory, but I decided I would wait until after the upcoming episode The Man Behind the Curtain. I will be reviewing the episode as I always do and I will try my best to post my thoughts on what I think is happening. Every episode lately has been so good and I have many thoughts on each of them.

Of Sound Heart and Sound Mind

"Where are we?"

Those words sent a chill down my spine. The Brig was in fact a prison on a ship, The BlackRock to be exact. Knowing this, The Brig also referred to a more metaphorical meaning as well. Locke had himself in a brig of sorts. He was still being held by the wanting of his father. Trapped in a pitiful state of juvenile unreason. Murder was out of the question for him, but he could have a murderer do it and with good reason.

He went and got Sawyer or maybe it would be more suitable to call him James, but I'll stick with Sawyer. Sawyer thought he was going to see Ben, but in fact he was going to see someone of much more infamy in his life, someone he would kill by the end of the episode. I feel now that Locke has a sound heart and sound mind as well as Sawyer.

Symbolism in Bare Feet
When Sawyer was walking through the jungle with barefeet, it reminded me of a similar scene where Jin and Ecko see the children walking through the jungle in barefeet. Sawyer was in pain. Were these children being punished when they were walking in barefeet? Just a silly thought that crossed my mind.

Naomi
We can finally call this parachutist by a name. Word spread quickly among the "A-List" survivors of the new arrival on the island. When Sayid interrogated her, like he does very well, he was suspicious. He was suspicious because he thought that she had no way to communicate with the ship she supposedly flew off of, but she had the phone. Does this mean that SHE can't be trusted? Who knows, Sayid isn't completely sure yet either. If ever he is, then she probably isn't a good person.
When Kate found out about Naomi she went straight to Jack. Of course, Juliet had to be in on the conversation. Then, her and Jack excluded Kate from a secret they have. This burned me so bad. Jack better have some good reasoning behind what he is doing.

This episode is loaded with splendid entertainment.

I have a new theory that I am working on that was sparked from this episode. I'll post it as soon as it's complete.

Locke and Cooper may work out their Daddy Issues in the upcoming episode The Brig. The key word in that sentence is may.

The word Brig has multiple meanings. It is a two-massed vessel. It is also a heavily guarded jail, especially on a millitary base. It can also be a jail on a vessel. Ponder over how these, if any, may tie into the upcoming episode.

A LOOK BACK AT LOCKE
Previously on LOST, Locke confronted Ben in "Otherville". He demanded to know where the sub was. Alex, the supposed daughter of Ben, was a brave young soul and took Locke to the sub. Furthermore, Rousseau caught a glimpse of her daughter. After that, we haven't seen much of her. This all led up to the shocking reveal of Cooper, Locke's SUPPOSED father, on the island and gagged. Ben promised Locke that he would reveal some of the islands secrets to him. We know that one of the islands secrets is Jacob.

SOMETHING I'VE NOTICED
It is not very often that a secret is revealed or a mystery solved without Locke being their. Some secrets that Locke hasn't missed out on are most of the Hatches and items therein, Smokey, Sonic Fence, the plane, "Otherville" and the Sub just to mention a few.

The Brig will be interesting, just like every other episode and like every episode, I am antsy to see it. I'm sure if your reading this you are excited as well. So while you are waiting, go and check out the music videos made by "RodimusBen". THEY ARE PHENOMENAL!!!! Here is the link.

Sweet Deception

Flight 815 was found and there were no survivors.They were all dead. This is what Naomi (spoilers say that's her name) told Hurley anyway. I instantly thought that it was a fabrication and that somone conned the media and set up a crashed plane. Naomi could even be lying. If its true though, did the producers tell a little white lie? Do you think that they did make a type of purgatory without calling it purgatory? I doubt this. There is also the issue of an alternate universe. Its hard to know what to think. A lie is what I am sticking with for now. Someone is lying as that is what seems to be the theme for this show.

With all of the deception on this island it is hard to know where the lies begin and where they end. A more fitting name for this show could be LIES or DECEPTION ISLAND as that is what seems to be the popular thing to do on this theory-driven show.

So many things are possible in this story it seems. Could it be that this island will lead to something much bigger that will involve the whole world??? Could it be the centerpiece for a global meltdown, a meltdown of civilization as we know it?If it is true that the people off the island are being told that the plane was found and there were no survivors then what would happen when these people at home find out it was a lie? To top that all off, what is so important that you would have to lie about over 48 peoples deaths????

A THEORY FOR THE DAY
Ben along with the rest of the Others are remnants of the Dharma Initiative. This group was on the island doing research on apocalyptic type things. Mysterious things all because the Island was in an alternate universe. The plane crash was found because this group is very powerful and set it all up. The island has history that you can explain with Alexander the Great and the Ancient Aztecs and all. Ben will wake up and realize it was all in his head and Hurley standing beside him saying "Wake Up Dude" then Ben will find out that everything really did happen because Ben is psychic only Hurley didn't go to the island and it was that crazy number guy and eventually history will course correct and Ben will go and be the leader of a psyCRAZY people.

From Conception to Death

Sun found out her D.O.C. and her DEATH DATE as well. One of my favorite parts of the entire episode was when Juliet told Ben "I hate you." Of course I don't think it was recorded, but it was my favorite and showed that Juliet is just trying to get off of the island.

SOME INTERESTING TID-BITS
Juliet is going to get Austen's sample soon. Do you think Sawyer got her pregnant?
Mikhail looks alive....is he???
The survivors are dead to the outside world. WHY?!?!??!

These are the questions I have. I am interested to see what will happen to the survivors next and if they do get rid of the Others once and for all, what will happen on the island next and what dilemma will these beachy kids face??? It looks as if Locke will be back in the upcoming episodes and more island info will come to light. For now let is keep theorizing our heads off and I will continue to post my thoughts throughout the next week and weeks to come.

SUNNY DAYS

Sun is in the spotlight for the next few posts along with the new mysterious island resident whose name I assume is Naomi from all of the spoilers. Sun has always been one of my favorite characters along with Jin because of the simplicity of her story, at least what we know so far. What we know is that she has had her troubles, just like the rest of the survivors and just like all of us. Now she is on the island and we are seeing her story play out as we find that she is pregnant. I can't wait to see what happens. I hear there will be a very nice LOST shocker ending....YESSSS!!!

FINALE ROYALE

As I said in my last post, I think the next few episodes are going to be very revealing. In Catch-22, Charlie was a catastrophe. You could see he was very torn about even leaving his tent. He is scared, VERY SCARED and has good reason to be.

HOW I THINK IT WILL ALL PLAY OUT:

I think that the survivors will find out that someone is betraying them and this will lead to a battle between the 815'ers and the Others. I don't know exactly how, but I think we will be surprised. People will die and it will lead to a very exciting Season 4, I'm sure. These Others really have issues and we've seen that, but I think we will REALLY see it now. Juliet is up to noo good at alll.....

Hurley??? He and his van are bound to come into play soon.

I would also love to find out about Alex and her boyfriend...and Room 23. My head is rolling with ideas on what may happen and surely one of them is bound to be right. The question of course is, Which one?

All of this will lead to a FINALE ROYALE and its bound to be exciting.
